Legislation is the most modern more specific, sufficient and the most important source of law .

Legislation is the most modern more specific, sufficient and the most important source of law .Customs, religion and other earlier sources of law are unable and not enough to cope with the fast changing and complex conditions needs and relations of the modern life and society. State itself has assumed the duty of making new laws or amending or repealing the old ones by modification of these laws. Law is regarded as the expression of the will of the people and will of the people is expressed through legislative assemblies which are representative bodies through elections in which people select these peoples by using the right of vote. All other means of making laws have now been swallowed up by this modern method of legislation because this is the source of law making which can exist in critical modern society.
